Naira Scarcity: APC youth leader dristubute relief items to 10,000 households in Northwest

As part of effort to cushion the effect of the Naira and feul scarcity in his region, the Northwest Youth Leader of All Progressives Congress, (APC) AbdulHamid Moh'd Oscar has distributed relief  items to over 10,000 household  in the Northwest. 





The relief items distributed includes bags of rice, beans and other cooking ingredients in kano, Jigawa, Kaduna, Katsina and Sokoto states. The youth leader also said he used his office to empower women and youth in the region in areas of education, business creation and among others.





He said he purchased  200 Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) forms for applicants seeking to gain admission into tertiary institutions and distributed  5,000 study materials  to students in kano and Jigawa states. Acording to him, his objective for investing in education  was to help reduce number of out of school children in the Northwest,  while also supporting  his party's presidential candidates, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu's  vision to improve education in the north.  



As for the women, "we got them sewing, grounding machines and N5,000 transferred to 400 women's account to support their business initiative," he said.



The youth leader said the leadership of his party(APC), presidential candidate of his party are  aware of the hardship experience by the people as a result of the Naira redesign and fuel scarcity, but they  promised it will be for a short period  time.




He urged the residents of kano and northwest in general to cast their  votes for his party's presidential candidate, Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu on Saturday at the polling boot. 




" Asiwaju has the interest of northwest at heart and we are confident that he will deliver on his education, health, jobs  and infrastructural development to the north once he wins.




" I besieged you all not to listen to  opposition members carrying out campaign of calumny against us. I believe we all see clearly that those engineering and perpetrating evil to turn you all against us are now exposed. The are the opposition members and you should beware of them.



" When Tinubu wins election, all this challenges faced by Nigerians will be carefully reviewed and all his good manifestos will be put into work," the youth leader said.

APC N'west youth leader buys JAMB form for 200 students, distribute 5000 books

The All Progressives Congress, APC Northwest Youth leader, AbdulHamid Moh'd Oscar has purchased  200 Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) forms for applicants seeking to gain admission into tertiary institutions and distributed  5,000 study materials  to students in kano and Jigawa states.



He said the objective was to help reduce number of out of school children in the Northwest,  while also supporting  his party's presidential candidates, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu's  vision to improve education in the north.  



Oscar who is also the Deputy Director Youth mobilization for his party's presidential campaign council said similar initiative will be replicated accross the remaining states in the Northwest, where about 1,000 forms will be purchased for students seeking admission into higher institutions. 


According to him, "We distribute 5000 pieces study Materials and paid 200 JAMB registration  fee  for  Students seeking admission into higher instutions, just to support  support Tinubu's  vision on education.

He said "Northwest has the highest number of out of school children in  Nigeria with over 10 million and we don't want that to continue."

The APC youth leader said his  decision to purchase JAMB registration form for over 200 northwesterners was to encourage more individuals in the north to pursue education from primary to the tertiary level. 



According to him, " It is part of Tinubu's vision to build leaders accross the country and we must start by contributing our quota to ensure he succeeds.  Tinubu has groomed successfull leaders and he will help us do the same in the north. 

While calling on northerners to vote Tinubu in the upcoming election, he said "during his (Tinubu) campaign, he has promised that he will  help us cub street begging and return our teenagers back to school where they can combine both Arabic and western education. He also promised the teaming youths jobs and empowerment  and I believe my own decision to donate 5,000 study books  and purchase JAMB forms will yield positive results, Once the 200 students  graduates from higher institutions, they can secure jobs with their certificates", He said.

Oodua youths vows to mobilize 10million votes for Tinubu in Southwest

As the country inches towards the presidental  election,   the Oodua Youth Parliament  has vowed to deliver 10 million votes for the All Progressives Congress Presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu, in the forthcoming 2023 election in the South Western region




In a statement by the  Speaker Oodua Youth Parliament OYP, Aare Abdulmajeed Oladimeji Oyeniyi, said Tinubu has all it takes to rule Nigeria. Considering his activities and track record



He said the group has  ordered of all its  members across the country  and in diaspora to Vote for  Tinubu for President andhe is confident that on the day of election, "the APC presidential candidate Will be congratulated  before 12noon as president.



"We have millions of members accross the world and they will be coming home to vote Tinubu."



While urging Yorubas not to divide its house ahead of the presidential election, he warned that “any mistake in Nigeria’s choice of President if not Tinubu will be detrimental.   Tinubu has all it takes to rule the country, being a detribalised Nigerian who loves the masses and is blessed with enormous wisdom."



Tinubu has a  track record as Lagos State governor and his unmatched humanitarian endeavours since 2007 when he left office as governor.




  "Asiwaju has better qualification, exposure and know-how to rule the country and his ideas to are rock solid. We can imagine him replicating his acheivements on Lagos in just 20 states should he emerge as president; I believe Nigeria will transcend into commity of nations deciding in the world, "Oyeniyi said.

Northerners won't betray Tinubu, we'll stand by him -- Abdulhamid Oscar

The All Progressives Congress, APC Northwest Youth leader, AbdulHamid  Moh'd Oscar has said that in northerners won't betray his party's presidential candidate, Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu in the up coming general elections.


He said no amount of campaigns of calumny and gangup by opposition  against Tinubu can succeed because he has paid his dues. According to Oscar, the APC presidential candidate stood by the North when he was needed most and now is the time for a pay back. 



The youth leader said Tinubu doesn't need to reimburse anyone with money or buy his way in before he becomes president, as his good deeds will pave way for him in the election. 


Oscar in a statement  "We are the Northern youth, and we will not betray Asiwaju for his past generosity. We also know that he has the north's intrest at heart. 


"Tinubu has sown a seed, so the  Northerners don't even need money to vote him, we want what he is bringing to the table for the north after the elections. We believe based on his past track records, he will win.


"We northerners are students of history and we know what the oppsition are capable of doing. For God sake, PDP  failed Nigeria and now they are trying every possible means to crawl back to power and if they do, it will.be disastrous for the comon Nigerians. 


 He called on all and sundry to rally round and  vote Tinubu in order bolster peace,  stability, progress and development to in the region ."

We'll secure northern votes for Tinubu -- APC N'West youth leader

As all presidential candidates continued to woo supporters from the north,  the All Progressives Congress, (APC) Northwest's youth leader, Abdulhamid  Moh'd Oscar has reassured the party's presidential candidate, Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu of massive votes from the region in the upcoming election. 





 Oscar In a statement said  Tinubu is a tough man to beat in  the upcoming election and no amount of  gimmicks and slander from opposition parties or individuals can stop  northern people from voting him,  because they are aware of the developments and positive transformation he will bring to the region once he becomes president. 




Calling on APC youths to stand firm and guard the ballots and ensure that Tinubu's  votes are counted during the  general election, Oscar said they have been working round the clock to promote their candidate  from house to house.  " And Asiwaju is people's choice," he said. 



Oscar added in his statement maintained that the party's Northwest  youth wing under him had earlier  swung into acrion by organizing a solidarity event for the  Presidential Candidate, Bola Tinubu and his running mate, Kashim Shettima.



According to him, "the Conference is designed to show our total and absolute support to our APC Presidential Candidate and Vice Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Kashim Shetima. To also show our support to our gubernatorial and deputy gubernatorial prospect candidates in Kano, Dr. Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna and Murtala Sule Garo. And to also register our support to all aspirants in the country.” He said.



“We all believe that we must copy from our father Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano state, in the area of youth participation in politics. We all believe that governor Ganduje is our true father who believes in developing youth in his government.



“With people like Bola Tinubu and Shetima, we rest assured that the future of our youth is secured. I have been going around my Zonal constituencies, and what I found was the total support our APC candidates have, especially among our youth population.



“This Press Conference is a reminder to all other opposition political parties that, youth from the Northwest zone have already decided to vote for progressive people and leaders who believe in human development at all stages of life.



“I have gone around some of the states under my constituency, to make sure that we put in place, a strategic plan with the sole aim of winning our elections.



“We are assuring our party, the APC, that youth will give them the needed votes and the needed support throughout this campaign season up to election time.



“At the end of our strategy meeting with youth leaders and stakeholders from the 44 LGAs and 484 wards of Kano State, we will come up with new youth-focused election-winning strategies.” He concluded

Southern Kaduna LP Senatorial Candidate Names 19-member campaign Council for 2023 election

The Southern Kaduna Labour Party (LP) Senatorial Candidate, Engr. Mike Auta has on Monday approved the appointment of Hon. Mohammed Zakari as his campaign Director General while Mr. Jotham Ayuba, Director Media And Communications and Special Adviser.


Hon. Zakari who held from Kachia, was a former  PDP State Secretary for 8-years while Mr. Jotham Chatcham Ayuba, is coming in with his wealth of experienced from the broadcast industry for almost 24-years. The Senatorial Candidate disclosed this in a press statement he personally signed and issued to Newsmen on Monday in Kafachan.

According to him the appointment take immediate effect.

He said  the initiative is also aimed at informing party faithfuls and supporters of the most growing party in KADUNA State and Nigeria at large of the capable men and women that would be driving Engr. (Dr.) Michael Ayuba Auta's ambitions in the right direction with the aim of putting him in that exalted position come 2023.


Mr. Jashua KZ. (Igwe), a grass root mobilizer was also named the campaign Secretary while Director, Women Mobilization is Hon. Mrs Boniface and Mary Bature (Dep. Dir)


Also, Ezekiel Thot was appointed Director Medical and Duties, Director, Contact and Mobilization, Mr. Sunday Kasai while Mohammed Paul was appointed Director, Research Planning.

Mr. Luka Hassan is the Director, Finance and Administration while Prof. Goje and Dr. Adams Directorates of Stakeholders.


According to the Senatorial hopeful, to further strengthen their campaign strategies, the campaign council has also agreed to draw in, some party loyalists into various Directorates, inorder to propagate the presence of Labour party in the hearts of it's people, towards victory in the 2023 general elections. Meanwhile, for the spirit of balancing and alignment, the various portfolios were carefully spread across the eight local government areas of the Senatorial district.

I'll carry everyone along in my govt, Uba Sani promise Southern Kaduna pastors

The gubernatorial candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in Kaduna State, Senator Uba Sani has pledged to run an all-inclusive government if voted into power in the forthcoming general elections slated for 2023.

He made this known while speaking at the Pastors Congress organized by the Southern Kaduna Christian Leaders Association, a group of principal spiritual fathers across all the churches domiciled in Southern Kaduna on Thursday.

“When voted into power, we will run an all-inclusive government that will be just, equitable and fair to all irrespective of religious and ethnic beliefs or political inclinations, he had told the congress.

He also stressed that “We will run a participatory and responsive government that ensures no one is left behind.

Senator Uba further said that “as a detribalised and equitable leader, l am pleased to notify this important gathering that 3 out of the 5 appointees working directly with me presently at the National Assembly are Christians, and the person occupying the most sensitive position is a native of Southern Kaduna and a daughter of Mrs Charity Shekari”.

Giving the account of his stewardship in the Ninth National Assembly as the Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Sen Uba said he is the Senator with the highest number of bills in the Senate by sponsoring 31 bills with 7 of bills already passed and 2 assented by the President.

“It is on record that l sponsored the State Police bill on the floor of the National Assembly with the ultimate purpose of bringing to an end the challenge of insecurity facing us as a nation.” He said.

On constituency projects, Sen Uba Sani said “l lobbied for the construction of the Faculty of Engineering at the new site of Kaduna State University (KASU) worth over N4billion through the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). This is in addition to the provision of a state-of-the-art Information and Communication Technology (ICT) through the National Communication Commission (NCC) at the College of Education, Gidan Waya, though as a Senator representing Kaduna Central Senatorial District“.

Through oversight role, he said that “l supported an intervention of N200 billion to small and peasant farmers to improve agriculture and food security, alleviate poverty among our people and improve the economy of the nation. I also sponsored the equipping of 7 primary health centres across the 7 Local Government Areas l represent”.

Also speaking at the event, the leader and Chairman of the event, Apostle Emmanuel Kure said the event was primarily organised to engage with all the gubernatorial candidates seeking to lead Kaduna State with justice, equity and fairness.
